1 (10 ounce) package butterscotch chips |
1/2 cup butter (no substitutes) |
2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 32 squares) |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Set oven to 325°F. 2. Grease a 13x9-in baking pan. 3. In a microwave-safe dish, heat the butterscotch chips and butter until melted about 1-1/2-2 mins, stirring occasionally, until smooth. 4. Add the cracker crumbs to the melted butter and melted butterscotch chips; set aside 2/3 cup. 5. Press the remaining crumb mixture into greased prepared pan. 6. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. 7. Add the sweetened milk, egg and vanilla; mix well. 8. Stir in pecans. 9. Pour over the crust. 10. Sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture. 11. Bake for 30-35 mins, or until bars tests for done. 12. Cool, cut in bars. 13. Store in the refrigerator. |
