This salad is from a popular Italian restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri. It's very good! Ingredients:
1 head romaine lettuce |
1 head iceberg lettuce |
1 (10 ounce) jar artichoke hearts, drained |
1 (10 ounce) can hearts of palm, drained and chopped |
1 (4 ounce) jar pimiento, diced and drained |
1 large red onion, thinly sliced |
salt and pepper |
shaved deli hard salami (optional,but wonderful) |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1/3 cup red wine vinegar |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Mix all salad ingredients together. 2. Mix dressing together. 3. Toss and serve. |
