This is always a hit at potlucks. Ingredients:
1 cup rice |
1 cup chopped celery |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup canned peas |
1/2 cup canned corn |
1/4 cup oil |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon vinegar |
1/3 cup almonds, chopped |
Directions:
1. Cook 1 cup of rice in slightly salted water. 2. Cool. 3. Add the vegetables. 4. Mix together and add the dressing ingredients. 5. Mix and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. 6. Just before serving, add almonds. |
