I have had this recipe for many years and it is so good and creamy.The best rice pudding ever IMHO! Ingredients:
1/2 lb white rice (uncooked) |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1/4 cup butter |
1 pinch salt |
1/2 gallon skim milk |
Directions:
1. Wash rice; drain. 2. Add all ingredients together in a large sauce pot; bring to a boil. 3. Turn heat to low and cook until thickened (about an hour and a half to 2 hours) stirring often. 4. Pour into large bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. 5. Serve warm or chilled. 6. ENJOY! |
