Nice pilaf dish that can be served with almost any main dish. Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked long grain rice |
1 tablespoon cooking oil |
2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 2/3 cups boiling water |
1 cup frozen peas |
Directions:
1. In large skillet, brown rice in oil, stirring constantly. 2. Blend in soup mix and pepper. 3. Stir in water; bring to a boil. 4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender. 5. Stir in peas. 6. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. |
