This is another of my moms recipe. I am not sure where she got it. She was a cook in a Buffet Style Resturant for years, until her Disabilies struck her. She died last October. Ingredients:
1 box white and wild rice, cook as directed |
8 slices bacon, cooked and broken into small pieces |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 small can of slice mushrooms, drained |
1/2 cup water chestnuts, sliced |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 350F. 2. Spray casserole dish with Pam cooking spray, or your choice cooking spray. 3. Combine all ingredients in dish. 4. Do not cover. 5. Bake for 30 minutes. |
