i tried this recipe because i wanted to find out different ways of eating rice and veggies - and i loved it! also perfect side dish. Ingredients:
250 g rice |
2 carrots |
1 turnip cabbage |
2 tablespoons flour |
3 eggs |
salt and pepper |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
2 cups cream cheese |
garlic |
herbs |
sunflower seeds |
Directions:
1. Cook rice as indicated on package. Peel carrots and turnip cabbage and finely grate both vegetables. 2. Mix cooked rice, flour, eggs with grated carrots and turnip cabbage. Taste with salt and pepper. 3. Heat oil in skillet and fry the mixture in shape of cookies on both side until they are golden and crispy. 4. Mix cream cheese with garlic and/or herbs for more taste. Serve hot rice cookies with cream cheese and besprinkle the plate with some sunflower seeds. |
