I learned this from my grandmother who is very talented in the ways of cookery. Be careful, this recipe is hot, hot, hot! Ingredients:
2 tablespoons raisins |
2 tablespoons water |
1 cup cooked rice (preferably brown rice, but any will do) |
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
1 1/2 cups milk (any kind) |
1/4 cup brown sugar (light brown sugar is best) |
Directions:
1. Put raisins and water in a microwavable bowl. 2. Microwave raisins and water for 10 seconds. 3. Add Rice, cinnamon, and milk. 4. Microwave on high for 1 minute. 5. Add brown sugar and microwave for 30 seconds or until desired temperature. 6. Sit down and enjoy! You may want to use a spoon. :). |
