This is a recipe my aunt used to make. One of the few I liked. I substituted brown rice for the white that she used, to make it a little healthier. It's so simple, I use it when I'm not in to mood to cook dinner, but don't want to spend $40 on sushi delivery. Ingredients:
1 cup cooked brown rice (1/2cup raw) |
1/3 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook 1/2 cup of brown rice in 1 cup water for 30-40 minuets. 2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet w/ salt and pepper. 3. When rice is done add the cooked beef and cheese, mix, and enjoy. |
