Rice Amandine with Mushrooms Ingredients:
1/2 cup sliced almonds |
2 tbsp. butter or margarine |
1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained |
3 cups cooked rice |
salt and ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. In large skillet, saute almonds in butter until golden brown 2. Stir in remaining ingredients 3. Heat thoroughly 4. Serve with broiled steak, roast beef, broiled chicken 5. Microwave Method: 6. Combine sauteed almonds with remaining ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart microproof dish. 7. Cook, uncovered, on high (maximum power) 5 to 6 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. |
