This is healthier and cheaper than the stuff in the box at the store. Ingredients:
1/2 c raw vermicelli or spaghetti, broken into pieces |
3/4 c raw rice |
4 1/2 oz chicken broth |
2 tb margarine |
desired spices |
saute spaghetti and rice in margarine, stirring constantly, until lightly browned. |
add spices and broth. |
bring to a boil. |
cover, reduce to low, and simmer 15 minutes |
