Sweet soft ribbon cookies. Ingredients:
5 egg yolks |
5 tsp brandy |
5 tsp icing sugar, sifted |
5 tsp sour cream |
pinch of salt |
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, sifted |
icing sugar for dusting |
Directions:
1. Add first 4 ingredients in a kichen aid and mix to form a smooth liquid. 2. Add flour until it comes together like soft pasta dough. 3. Allow to rest for 2 hours at room temperature. 4. Dust surface with flour and roll to 1/8 to 1/16 of inch thick. 5. Cut with a ribbon cutter or with a knife cut into long strips. 6. Bake at 350 ºF for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. 7. Dust with icing sugar. |
