This is a rub I came up with by looking at others and using what I had in my cabinet. I love ancho chili powder and brown sugar together. If you do not have that you can use regular chili powder.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 cup salt
2 tablespoons emeril's original essence
1 -2 tablespoon dried ancho chile powder (depending on how much you like)
1 tablespoon cumin
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together. Rub on ribs and refrigerate overnight.
2. The next morning I place them in the crock pot with whatever sauce you like. I used a recipe from Food TV for Hot Honeyed Spare ribs. YUM!
