Wow sometimes i just amaze myself how creative i can be when it comes to food,especially when you dont know what to make...what i did with all that ribs laying in the freezer was a work of wonders hahaha...its delicious so if u like it let me know....thanks Ingredients:
2 kg ribs |
4 spring onions (sliced) |
1/2 green pepper |
2 tablespoons oil |
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce |
2 tablespoons chutney |
3 tablespoons sugar |
2 bay leaves |
3 cloves |
1/2 cup water |
2 ml salt |
5 ml black pepper |
250 ml fresh cream |
2 large potatoes |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. -place ribs in water and boil 1 hour(makes quicker tender). 2. -when ribs cooled shred removing all access fat and skin just use meat. 3. -heat oil in pan,add spring onions and green pepper and brown,add water if neccessary. 4. -add sweet chilli,chutney,sugar,bay leaves,cloves,salt,and pepper. 5. -cook for 3 minutes. 6. -add ribs and cook for 30 minutes. 7. -add rest of water. 8. -preheat oven to 180 degrees c. 9. -add rib mixture to oven dish. 10. -peel patatoes and slice thin. 11. -place patatoes over rib mixture add tiny pieces of butter sprinkle salt and black pepper. 12. -place in oven for 1-30 to 2 hours. 13. -now enjoy and be happy ;0). |
