Ingredients:
2 cups rhubarb, finely chopped (fresh or frozen) |
2 cups finely chopped onions |
2 1/2 cups packed brown sugar |
1 cup vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon allspice |
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. 2. Cool; store in the refrigerator. 3. Makes a nice condiment for poultry, pork or beef. |
