This recipe creates a custard-like pudding that goes great with the rhubarb. Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix |
4 cups chopped rhubarb |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 pint unwhipped heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Mix the cake according to the directions on the package. 2. Pour the batter into a lightly greased 9 x 13 cake pan. 3. Mix rhubarb and sugar; spoon over the batter. 4. Pour cream over unbaked cake. 5. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour. 6. Garnish with whipped cream. |
