This is a very unique and very tasty dessert sure to please all. We love it and hope you do too. Ingredients:
2 pounds rhubarb |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup water |
1 cup white sugar |
3 eggs |
1 cup whipped cream |
1/4 cups orange juice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Cut rhubarb in short pieces then sprinkle with sugar and add water. 3. Bake for on hour then put through sieve. 4. Heat puree again and pour over three beaten egg yolks. 5. When cold fold in 1/2 pint whipped cream and three beaten egg whites. 6. Add 1/4 cup orange juice and turn into refrigerator pan. 7. Stir at end of 1-1/2 hours. 8. Freeze for 3 hours. |
