I make this a lot.A friend gave me this recipe a long time ago.My hubby is a diabetic so I use splenda for the rhubarb mixture and regular sugar in the topping. Ingredients:
4 cups rhubarb |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup flour, plus |
1 tablespoon flour |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 tablespoon water |
3/4 cup quick-cooking oatmeal |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup white sugar |
1/4 cup melted margarine |
Directions:
1. Mix the rhubarb portion and put in dish. 2. Make the crumble and put on top. 3. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. 4. Use a 8X8 pan. |
