1 cup flour |
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
4 cups rhubarb |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. make topping: combine flour, oats, brown sugar, mixing well. with fork stir in melted butter to make a crumbly mixture. 3. make rhubarb filling: in 8x8x2 inch baking dish, combine rhubarb (cut into 1/2 inch peices) with sugar, flour, cinnamon and 1/2 cup water, stir to mix well. 4. sprinkle topping evenly over filling; bake, uncovered, 35 minutes or until topping is golden brown and rhubarb is tender. 5. serve warm, with light cream or ice cream, if desired. |
