This cake is outstanding and very easy to make. The cream turns into a custard and the rhubarb ends up in the middle of the cake. It is awesome served warm and is just as good cold. yellow cake mix |
water |
oil |
eggs |
4 cups chopped rhubarb |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 pint whipping cream or half and half |
Directions:
1. Make yellow cake mix according to directions on box. 2. Using the water, oil and eggs. 3. Put cake dough into a greased 9 x 13 pan. 4. Layer the cut rhubarb on top. 5. Sprinkle sugar on top of rhubarb. 6. Then gently pour cream on top. 7. DO NOT STIR! 8. Bake for 60 min. 9. Cool. 10. Keep in refrig. |
