It's surprisingly delish! Ingredients:
2 cups rhubarb, diced |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 egg |
1 cup milk |
2 cups flour |
1/2 cup butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together butter, baking soda, brown sugar, 2. salt, egg, milk, flour, vanilla, and rhubarb. 3. Pour cake mixture into a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish. 4. In a small bowl, combine remaining brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon. 5. Sprinkle on top of cake mixture. 6. Bake for 45 minutes. |
