I love this bread. Hope you do too. Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups flour |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 egg |
1 cup buttermilk |
1/2 cup oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup finely chopped rhubarb |
2 tablespoons flour |
Directions:
1. Grease and flour loaf pan. 2. In lg. mixing bowl, combine first 4 ing. 3. In another bowl, combine next 4 ing. 4. Mix well. 5. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients. 6. Toss rhubarb with the 2 Tbsp flour; fold into batter. 7. Bake at 350* for about 50 minutes. 8. Try the toothpick test and bake longer if necessary. |
