I got this recipe from my daughter. Everyone loved it (even my DDIL whose not much of a meat lover!) Best when using a tip roast (look for buy 1 get 1 free deals at Jewel) Ingredients:
1 beef roast, 3-4 lb. (beef tip roast is most tender) |
1 (1 ounce) package onion soup mix (i use mr. grass) |
1 ounce au jus mix |
1 ounce brown gravy mix |
1/4 cup onion, chopped |
5 -6 teaspoons beef bouillon granules |
Directions:
1. put roast in crock pot. 2. sprinkle all ingredients on and around meat. 3. almost cover with water. 4. cook on low 9 to 10 hours, depending on size of roast. 5. start checking meat at 9 hours for tenderness. |
