Rhode Island Corn Custard Crockpot |

This is one of our favorite Thanksgiving side dishes. Please use freshly grated nutmeg. It makes all the difference in the world! Ingredients:
3 large eggs |
1 11 ounce can whole kernel corn; drained |
2 tb sugar |
1/4 ts nutmeg, freshly ground |
1/2 ts salt |
1/8 ts pepper |
1 c milk |
1 c light cream |
Directions:
1. In mix bowl, beat eggs well. Add corn. Stir in sugar, nutmeg, salt, 2. pepper, milk and light cream. Mix well. Place in buttered slow cooker. 3. Cook on HIGH for3 - 4 hours. Serves 4. 4.
