From the South Beach Diet cookbook. This is a phase 1 recipe. Ingredients:
1 leaf iceberg lettuce or 1 leaf cabbage |
1 slice lowfat swiss cheese |
1 slice pastrami |
1 tablespoon grainy mustard or 1 tablespoon sugar-free thousand island dressing |
2 tablespoons prepackaged coleslaw mix or 2 tablespoons sauerkraut |
Directions:
1. Open the lettuce or cabbage leaf on a plate. 2. Place cheese on the leaf and top with pastrami. 3. Spread mustard or dressing onto pastrami. 4. Add coleslaw or sauerkraut. 5. Roll up and secure with a toothpick. |
