Quick, easy, warm and yummy. If you like the sandwich, you'll love this! Ingredients:
12 ounces corned beef, sliced |
1/4 cup thousand island dressing |
1 lb canned sauerkraut, drained |
1/2 lb swiss cheese, shredded |
6 slices rye bread, broken into pieces |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
2 medium tomatoes, diced |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Coat bread pieces in the melted butter and set aside. 3. Break up the corned beef into a greased 9x13 baking dish. 4. Drizzle with thousand island dressing. 5. Cover with the sauerkraut and then sprinkle a layer of the cheese. 6. Top with tomatoes (you can leave these out, I think it adds a bit of color!). 7. Cover with breadcrumbs and bake in oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly. |
