5-Ingredient Fix Contest Entry. This recipe is a thick rich cheesy soup. use up left over potatoes, and what ever cheese you like!!! add ham, or bacon to add some extra smokey flavor.... it is a real hit here at the senior center in mecosta county, mi!!! Ingredients:
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 gallon milk, all others curdle (i use 2 percent) |
1 (20 ounce) bag simply potatoes diced potatoes with onion |
1 cup shredded cheese (i use american, you could use any kind or combination) |
Directions:
1. Place butter in a dutch oven, melt, add flour, whisk together. slowly add milk, whisking until no longer lumpy. add potatoes, and cheese, cook until potatoes are cooked, and cheese is melted! |
