This is my good friend Renata's recipe and I love these moist, flavorful burgers. Can cook on the stove or grill. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey |
1 large egg |
1 egg white |
1 small onion, minced |
3/4 cup fine dry breadcrumb |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes |
1 teaspoon seasoning salt |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/2 teaspoon dried sage |
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
6 hamburger buns |
lettuce leaf |
onion, slices |
tomato, slices |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, add the first 11 ingredients; stir to mix well. 2. Shape mixture into 6 patties. 3. Cook burgers in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until done. 4. Serve in buns with lettuce, onion, tomato or condiments of your choice. |
