church cookbook - I did some changes in the amount of sugar, oil and vinegar. The first time I made it there was way too much dressing and the vinegar was too strong not to mention a cup of sugar seems way too much. Ingredients:
8 1/2 ounces le seuer peas |
8 ounces shoe peg corn |
15 ounces french style green beans |
3 ounces pimientos |
1 cup celery, chopped |
1 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup vinegar |
3/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup oil |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon water |
Directions:
1. Mix all vegetables togather in large bowl. 2. Mix dressing starting with vinegar and pour over vegetables, let stand overnight. 3. Will keep 2 weeks. |
