The scent of lavender is very relaxing and oatmeal and baking soda are soothing to dry and sensitive skin. This bath is great for calming a rash, sunburn or insect bites. From Natural Beauty at Home by Janice Cox. Ingredients:
1 cup dried lavender flowers |
2 cups oatmeal |
1/2 cup baking soda |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until a fine, smooth powder is achieved (should be about the consistancy of whole wheat flour). 2. Pour into a clean, airtight container. 3. To use: Pour 1/2 cup into the bath as you fill the tub. |
