Reese's Candy Peanut Butter Cake |

This is a Gold Medal recipe. If you are a peanut butter lover this one is for you. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup margarine (softened) |
3/4 cup milk |
1/3 cup peanut butter |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup coarsely chopped reese's peanut butter cups |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except candy in a bowl and mix at a low speed. 2. Scrape sides of bowl very often. 3. Beat on high for approximately 3 minutes. 4. Continue to scape sides of bowl often. 5. Pour into a greased and floured pan, either a round pan 9 inches or square 8x8 pan. 6. Sprinkle top of mixture with reese's peanut butter cups. 7. Put into a preheated oven of 350 degrees. 8. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean of center. 9. Can be served warm or cool. 10. Enjoy! |
