My own take on Crunchy Dilled Slaw from : a traditional coleslaw without mayo. Ingredients:
16 ounces pre-shredded cabbage |
1 red pepper, sliced |
1 onion, chopped |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup vinegar |
2 teaspoons dill seeds |
1 teaspoon ground mustard |
1/2 cup oil |
Directions:
1. Boil vinegar, dill seed, and ground mustard. 2. Combine cabbage, pepper, and onion. 3. Combine oil with vinegar mixture. 4. Combine and mix mixtures. 5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. |
