I was looking for a classic red wine vinaigrette dressing and found this one, by Giada De Laurentiis, so I thought I'd share it. I just made it, and it was really fantastic! It has the perfect ratio of oil to vinegar. Ingredients:
1/2 cup red wine vinegar |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
2 teaspoons honey |
2 teaspoons salt |
freshly ground black pepper |
1 cup olive oil (vegetable oil works just as well) |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients except the oil in a blender. Add the oil gradually while blending. 2. You could also use a salad dressing mixing bottle, or a plain plastic bottle to mix this. |
