1. Cream butter slightly. 2. Mix all above ingredients together in bowl or mixer. 3. Then add 1 teas. baking soda to 1 teas. vinegar 4. Add to batter.Beat at low speed until it starts to bubble. 5. Pour into 2 greased pans. I use square- it's just our tradition. 6. Bake at 350 7. Bake about 30 min. 8. Cool. Cut layers in 1/2 with thread to make 4 layers. 9. Ice equally think layers cake/icing.
