Ingredients:
1 box(es) white cake mix
2 ounce(s) red food coloring
3 eggs
1 stick(s) butter
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 tablespoon(s) cocoa
1 cup(s) buttermilk
Directions:
1. Cream butter slightly.
2. Mix all above ingredients together in bowl or mixer.
3. Then add 1 teas. baking soda to 1 teas. vinegar
4. Add to batter.Beat at low speed until it starts to bubble.
5. Pour into 2 greased pans. I use square- it's just our tradition.
6. Bake at 350
7. Bake about 30 min.
8. Cool. Cut layers in 1/2 with thread to make 4 layers.
9. Ice equally think layers cake/icing.
