Prepared on the stovetop. I think this is Spanish Rice. Adapted from the American Diabetes Association. water, chicken broth, onion, uncooked long grain rice, tomato sauce green bell pepper cvt Ingredients:
2 cups water |
2 cups low sodium fat free chicken broth |
2 onion, chopped |
2 cup uncooked long grain rice |
4 garlic clove, minced |
8 oz tomato sauce |
2 green bell pepper, chopped |
Directions:
1. Boil the water in a large saucepan. Add the bouillon cube and stir. 2. Add the remaining ingredients, stir well, and return to a boil. Reduce the heat to simmer and cook, covered, for 20 minutes. |
