Ingredients:
1/3 to 1/2 cup jarred salsa |
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt |
1 cup long-grain white rice |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, bring the salsa, salt, and 1 3/4 cups water to a boil. Add the rice and stir. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 7 to 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. |
