Red Lentil and Hazelnut Balls

From Were Rabbits. For bentos! I bet you could freeze these too.
Ingredients:
100 ml dried red lentils
1 egg
3 -4 tablespoons ground hazelnuts, plus extra for rolling the balls in later
2 -3 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/2 an onion, chopped (about 50ml)
salt, pepper, garlic to taste
neutral oil (for frying)
Directions:
1. Boil the lentils in salted water to desired mushyness.
2. Blend with the rest of the ingredients in a food processor or by hand in a bowl.
3. Form balls or patties, roll them in some extra ground hazelnuts, and fry or deep-fry them in oil until they’re golden brown.
