My friend gave me this recipe a long time ago. If you like hot, you will like this. Ingredients:
10-ounce can chili or chili with beans |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
10 whole pickled lalapeno peppers |
1 can ( 10 biscuits) buttermilk biscuits |
Directions:
1. Remove stems from peppers. 2. Slice each pepper lengthwise along one side.Do not slice in half. 3. Remove seeds from center of each pepper and rinse in cold water. 4. Heat chili slightly. 5. Stuff each pepper with chili and cheese.. 6. Wrap biscuit dough around each pepper and secure with a toothpick. 7. NOTE... Dough works best if warmed to room temperture and flattened into ablong shape. 8. Bake on a greased cookie sheet according to biscuit directions. 9. Allow to cool, filling is hot. |
