Red Cabbage And Apples

This is a good change of pace for a side dish.
Ingredients:
1 med head red cabbage, chopped
1 med onion, chopped
2 tbs oil
2 granny smith apples
1 tbs lemon juice
1 tbs sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
1. Cook cabbage and onion in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet or Dutch oven over medium-low heat, stirring occassionally, 30 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, peel and chop apples, toss with lemon juice. Stir apple mixture, sugar, salt and pepper into cabbage mixture. Cook, stirring occassionally, 30 minutes.
