3medium apples, peeled and grated |
3/4cup sugar |
1/2cup red wine vinegar |
1teaspoon ground cloves |
1cup crisp-cooked and crumbled bacon (optional) |
fresh apple slices (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preparation: 1.Combine cabbage, apples, sugar, vinegar and cloves in slow cooker. Cover; cook on HIGH 6 hours, stirring after 3 hours. Sprinkle with bacon, if desired. Garnish with apple slices. |
