Ingredients:
1 pound dried red beans |
1 small onion, chopped |
1/2 pound hot smoked sausage, sliced |
3 garlic cloves, chopped |
ham bone or ham hocks |
red bean seasoning mix |
7 cup(s) cups water |
Directions:
1. Step One 2. Rinse beans. 3. Step Two 4. In the slow cooker place all ingredients. 5. Step Three 6. Cook on low for 7 hours or until the beans are tender. 7. Step Four 8. If you want less juice just mash the beans while it cooks. 9. Step Five 10. Serve over cooked rice. |
