I made this up for lunch and this is fast to whip up and low fat too!! What more could anyone ask for. Delicious!!
Ingredients:
2 cups instant brown rice
2 (16 ounce) cans red beans (blue runner new orleans spicy cream style)
14 ounces smoked turkey sausage
1 large onion (diced)
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce (few dashes)
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. Cook rice according to directions.
2. cut up sausage and dice onions and cook in deep skillet over mediuim high heat.
3. add rice, beans and seasonings to taste
4. cook until heated through.
