Cooking with beer Ingredients:
2 1/2 teaspoons shallots, chopped |
1 teaspoon canola oil |
2 tablespoons dried cherrys, chopped |
1/3 cup chicken broth |
1 cup chicken broth |
8 oz ale |
1 teaspoons of malt vinegar |
1 pinch salt |
1 pinch ground black pepper |
1 tablespoon of butter |
Directions:
1. DIRECTIONS: 2. Sauté Shallots in clean hot pan w/ Canola oil till shallots are lightly browned 3. Add chopped rehydrated Bing Cherries with the stock & bring to a simmer 4. Add the Double Stock, Malt Vinegar and Red trolley Ale stock reduction 5. Reduce by 2/3 this should yield a little more than 6 oz or a little more then 2 Tablespoons per portion. 6. Season and Finish w/ Butter |
