This is as close to nonfat as chocolate frozen yogurt can get. If you're on Weight Watchers (or any other weight-management program) and you're dying for chocolate, this is a reasonable choice. And it's yummy! Ingredients:

1 quart nonfat yogurt (plain, nonfat, greek strained yogurt makes it really rich) |
                                                1 cup sugar |
                                                1/2 cup unsweetened dutch-processed cocoa powder |
                                                1/8 teaspoon salt |
                                                1 teaspoon vanilla extract |

                    Directions:

                                1. In bowl or food processor, combine all ingredients until sugar dissolves. 2. Note: You can start with less sugar, and then just add sugar to taste until it's as sweet as you want it to be. 3. Refrigerate until very cold - at least four hours, or up to two days. 4. Transfer to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions. |
