Nice gravy for meatballs. Make and brown meatballs in the pan. Remove from pan and set aside. Ingredients:
3 tbls fat, beef drippings |
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
2 tbls red wine |
1 cup chicken broth |
2 tbls half and half |
1 tsp vanilla |
Directions:
1. Set heat to medium. 2. Add 1 Tbls Kitchen Bouquet Seasoning. 3. Alternately whisk in some flour and chicken broth till smooth. 4. Add wine, vanilla and half and half, whisk smooth. 5. Add 1 Tbls Braggs Liquid Aminos 6. Alternately whisk in remaining flour and chicken broth. 7. Stir until gravy thickens. 8. Optional: Add meatballs back and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve over egg noodles or just eat plain. |
