My family and friends love it. Ingredients:
for base |
1/2 c. butter |
2 c. flour |
2 tbs. cornstarch |
1 tsp. baking powder |
for filling |
1 c. butter melted |
1 1/4 c. brown sugar |
3 beated eggs |
1 can (14 oz.) condensed milk |
2 c. sweetened coconut flakes |
2 c. quick oatmeal |
optional ingredients |
1 c. toasted ground.(not too fine) almond (optional) |
caramel syrup (optional) |
Directions:
1. For Base: 2. combine all ingredients and mix it well untill resembles. 3. press it into greased 9 x13 baking pan. Set aside. Preheat oven 4. 350 degrees. 5. For Filling: 6. Combine butter, sugar and condensed milk .Over low heat ,stir well until sugar is dissolved, . remove from heat, 7. stir in beated eggs, stir well until incorporated. 8. fold in the coconut, oatmeal and nuts. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until edges is light brown. 9. It still wobble in the middle but it will set as it`s cooling. 10. Cool completely, if desired, drizzle with caramel syrup and melted chocolate. Note: better result after 11. overnight in the fridge before cutting and serve. |
