An uncooked, sugar-free, and vegetarian pasta sauce that delivers fantastic flavor without cooking away all the nutrients. Perfect for a raw foods diet when served over uncooked spaghetti squash. Ingredients:
2 tomatoes, chopped |
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1/8 teaspoon sea salt |
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary |
Directions:
1. Puree tomatoes, including seeds and juice, in a food processor or blender. Transfer to a lidded 2-cup container. 2. Stir green bell pepper, onion, lime juice, garlic, sea salt, oregano, and rosemary into pureed tomatoes. Place lid on container and refrigerate at least 30 minutes. |
