Raw Food Green Cilantro Citrus Smoothie |

I wasn't sure how good it would be, but turns out it's delicious. You have to like cilantro . If you don't remove the membranes from the fruit you'll have some chewy pieces, which I happen to like, however others may wish to remove the white membranes from between the fruit segments. Ingredients:
1/2 pink grapefruit, peeled (not canned) |
1/2 lime, peeled |
1/2-1 cucumber, chopped (peeled or not) |
1/2 cup fresh pineapple, to taste |
1/4 bunch cilantro, including stems |
1 tablespoon agave syrup (to taste) |
1 pinch salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 pinch cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Throw it in the blender and blend. Adjust agave and cinnamon to taste. (I used a BIG pinch of cinnamon). 2. The amounts aren't important in this recipe, you may adjust as you like. The way it's written will give you a smoothie that tastes mostly of grapefruit and cilantro. |
