The Lemon and Citric acid cooks the fish and the coconut milk brings out the taste. Goes well with bread rolls as an appetizer or as a meal. My family loves it, and so will you. Simple yet easy and tasty. Ingredients:
500 grams fish fillet (preferable snapper or cod) raw |
1/2 liter freshly squeezed lemon juice |
1 can coconut milk |
onion |
tomatoes |
coriander |
green onion |
red chillies |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Dry the fish well with a paper towel or clean cloth 2. Cut into Cubes about 1.5 to 2 cubic cm 3. Pour into a bowl and pour in the Lemon Juice. 4. Put in bottom fridge to marinade (2 hours) while you prepare the other ingredients 5. Prepare in a different bowl 6. Cut half an onion into fine cubes 7. Half a cup of freshly cut tomato cubes 8. Half a cup of coriander and green onion 9. Diced chillies (as much or little, according to your preference) 10. After 90 to 120 minutes of marination, you can now drain the citrus, the fish cubes should be white by now. You can wash the citrus off under a running tap, but i prefer to keep the taste to add to the flavor. Pour the coconut milk into the Fish and add the other ingredients and mix. Add salt to taste. 11. Serve in small bowls and it goes well with bread rolls. 12. ENJOY |
