uses a food processor and dehydrator. Soaking time required.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sunflower seeds, soaked
1/2 cup walnuts, soaked
1 cup flax, ground
1/2 cup pitted dates (honey dates work great!)
1 t. cinnamon (ground)
1/2 tsp. nutmeg (ground)
1/2 tsp. clove powder (ground)
1 c. orange juice, fresh squeezed
1/2 c. chopped pistachios
1 c raisins
Directions:
1. Keep Separate:
2. 1/2 C. unsoaked, chopped Nuts (Pecans or Walnuts are great)
3. 1 cup Raisins
4. Mix all except the Separate ingredients in a food processor with the S blade until smooth. Next, fold in the Raisins and chopped Nuts. Form into desired shape (toast slices, bread loaves, cracker shapes) and then dehydrate at 105 for 10 hours and turn them over and dehydrate until desired texture is achieved. Serve with Almond Butter and Raw Fruit Spread.
